Garden Wood Retaining Wall I Am Going To Do Some Retaining Walls In My Backyard Maining To Create Garden Areas And Wondering If I Use 4x4

I am going to do some retaining walls in my backyard maining to create garden areas and wondering if I use 4x4 - garden wood retaining wall

untreated pine posts is not it? Suggestions on how to build and the other proposals, if the wood is good for this application ... Help or suggestions, we are very grateful
Thanks

I guess that means you want to use the 4X to build raised beds too. This wall is more timber than any other material. Rot untreated wood, before the course must still take several years depending on the weather. If you stack them have a strong wall, if you make the tools to try half of the joint instead of a nail through the entire thickness of the 4x4 drivetrain.

Depending on how high you are planning courses. 4x4 works. Make sure that they are treated well and if you are edible, make sure that the 4x4 does not contain arsenic. Twin Note that only even need. If you Aspen or Windsor stone can create curves, and many other colors.
PS wall height will determine what type of material used.

You need to go is harder than the 4x4. Hold vertical or horizontal load, unless the support posts at an angle. Go with cement blocks. No need to make more than red or break.
